Beaver poetry submission

Here are the submissions for the Beaver poetry competition. Winner; Beavers! by [Blaithin] is declared the winner 2006-11-27, but you can still vote if you want:

The little beaver
(Done really quickly just so that I could be first here ^_^)

Once a little beaver
Dressed up as a retriever
And raced a real dog
To the other side of a pond.

The dog was first to reach the stick
But the beaver showed off a trick:
He quickly cut down a tree
And swam back with it to me.

Time to pay
Busy beavers are resting in their home
Outside winter - dark and freeking cold
But the cabin is so warm
The pond is filled with food
Still the beavers are
  in a desp'rate mood
Because they all forgot!
  Today is Internet connection paying day!

Bob
There once was a beaver named Bob
Who chewed down his stick to a knob
That stick was devine
For it was made of pine
Tastes just like some corn on the cob

Little beaver eating wood
Tell me tell me if you would
How you came across such teeth
Does it help remove each leaf?

Little beaver, brown and cute
Have you come across a newt
While you're building up your dam
And would that little newt be Sam?

Linkmeet Beavers!

In linkmeet resides a fun kind of creature
The borders and icons are such a great feature:
They contain beavers, studying for knowledge
Maybe if they could speak they could all go to college...

Most wild beavers live in dams made of wood
But these beavers wouldn't leave, even if they could!

Their tails are so floppy, and they have big feet,
But being friends with the beavers is such a great treet!

Beaver bombs

Beaver Bombs are falling down
 - Bouncing Bouncing
Beaver Bums are getting hurt
 - Bad Beaver Battle!

But Beaver Babes they are in town
 - Bouncing Bouncing
Beaver Bums are shown in shirt
 - Bad Beaver Babes!

Beaver Babes Bring peace like clown
 - Boucing Bouncing
Beavers Babes remade the weapons into  
 - Beaver Bombs Breasts!

Winner; Beavers!

On a recent poll
for over achievers
who could have won
except for the beavers!

They work all day long
collecting the wood
they need for their lodge
like a good beaver should.

All of this labour
and outdoor exertion
contributes to the poll
and it’s winning assertion.

But what is so special,
what unique kind of feature,
has given this reputation
to such an odd sort of creature?

Without a doubt it’d have to be
their natural wood cleavers
that have given them the title
of busy little beavers.

So what do you do
when you need a job done?
Set up lodging for beavers!
and pardon the pun.
