At the sugar shack

These picture are from the sugar Shack, a wonderful tradition we have here in North America and mostly in Québec. For a whole day, or an evening, we eat a LOT of traditional sugar shack food, which include eggs, bacon, pea soup, roasted potatoes, beans in maple syrup, pancakes and, most of all, the famous "tire" on the snow, which is boiled maple syrup that hardens when we put it on the snow. Then again, the sugar shack includes a lot of alcool, at least when you go with friends, and dancing like mad for half the night!

2006-04-05 [Faëry]: We organised a sugar shack activity for the students of our department last thursday. An evening of eating sugar shack food and maple syrup stuff, dancing and drinking beer!

2006-04-05 [Faëry]: By the way, It took me about 10 tries to be able to put them up, even with Firefox...

2006-04-06 [hedda]: Oh? What happened when it didn't work? Network-problems and stuff?

2006-04-06 [Faëry]: Well, it might just be that my connection is crappy, but it kept stopping the upload and sending an error message wich can be more or less translated as "This page doesn't contain any data"
