Network problems
Linköpings University seems to have some sort of network problems now. Which makes it hard for anyone outside of the university to reach Linkmeet.
Update: These problems lead to that every request to Linkmeet came to

Start blogging!
You can now export your diary! If you go to you house and your diary, you'll see a button there with the suggestion to start exporting your diary.
You will get a link like
http://www.linkmeet.com/~hedda or
http://www.linkmeet.com/~1 (Depending on how annoying username you have) that easily can be accessed by non-Linkmeet members too.
Of course only public diary entries are exported.
If, and only if, you use this feature, your house can be accessed via
http://www.linkmeet.com/user.html?membernr=1 too. Might be useful to show people photos of you, or something.

New features!
It's now possible to make polls in the wiki. Not so fancy at first thought, but there is a lot more you can do with these polls.
You make a poll by writing
<wikipoll>, <voting> or <multivoting> on a wikipage.
The wikipoll is just like the poll at your house, but you can restrict the answering to people in your private forum or let everyone at a secret forum adminstrate a poll.
A voting is a poll where the names of the voters are written at their choosen alternative.
A multivoting is the same, but allows people to select multiple alternatives.
